They say to discover your purpose, reflect on what makes you sad, glad, and even mad. For me, it was the frustration and disappointment in a marketplace flooded with mass-produced, inferior products. I grew tired of seeing quality being sacrificed for quantity. That frustration turned into a mission: to find something better, more sustainable, and ultimately, to know the truth
about the products we were using.
I longed for the craftsmanship my grandmother cherished—the crisp, thick feel of the white sheets on her single bed and the comforting scent that came with them. Determined to recreate that quality, we started small. In October 2009, we made our first bed sheet in a humble garage with just two sewing machines.
We were proud to become the first in South Africa to use 100% Certified Organic Cotton.
